Best Ways to Save Money at Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge is a popular family resort chain that features indoor water parks, themed rooms, and various activities for kids and adults across the U.S. However, a vacation at Great Wolf Lodge can also be quite expensive, especially if you don’t plan ahead and look for ways to save money. In this post, I will share some tips and tricks on how to save money at Great Wolf Lodge, based on my own experience and research after having numerous family vacations at the Ground Mound, WA location.

Here are some of the best ways to save money at Great Wolf Lodge:

  • Sign up for online deals: One of the easiest ways to save money at Great Wolf Lodge is to sign up for their newsletter and follow them on social media. You will receive exclusive offers, discounts, and promotions that can help you save up to 50% off your stay. You can also check their deals page regularly to see the latest specials and packages.
  • Get a $50 credit for signing up on their website using my referral link. Another way to save money at Great Wolf Lodge is to sign up for their voyager club. You can earn points from your purchases that you charge to your room that can be used on a future trip. It gives you 50$ off as well when you use this link with a new Great Wolf Lodge account only. No cost to you. If the link doesn’t send a $50 off credit, leave your email in a comment and I will send the discount that way. The referral account stacks with their deals.
  • Avoid weekends and holidays: The rates at Great Wolf Lodge vary depending on the season and the day of the week. Weekends and holidays are usually the most expensive and crowded times to visit, so if you can, try to book your stay during the weekdays and off-season. You will not only save money, but also enjoy shorter lines and less noise.
  • Get a day pass: If you don’t want to spend the night at Great Wolf Lodge, you can still enjoy the water park by getting a day pass. A day pass gives you access to the water park from open to close, as well as towels, life jackets, and parking. A full-day pass costs $50 and up, while a half-day pass costs $40 and up. This is a great option if you live nearby or have other accommodation plans.
  • Bring your own food: Food and drinks at Great Wolf Lodge can be pricey, especially if you have a large family or a big appetite. To save money, you can bring your own food and snacks and store them in your room’s mini-fridge and cooler. Some rooms even have a kitchenette where you can cook your own meals. (Grand Mound location does not, but they do have microwaves).
  • Book Ahead of time: You can use ESAVER code if you book 90 days out, which is the one that gave us the biggest discount. You can also try the other codes well after you book and if it is a lower price, you can either call them or use the online chat and get the new rate. You can do this as many times as you want, up to a week before your visit. Even if my bill dropped $20, I contacted them to get the new price.
  • Don’t forget to get your free wolf ears: They don’t tell you this, but if you visit the store inside of Great Wolf, ask for the free wolf ears.

These are some of the best ways to save money at Great Wolf Lodge, but there are many more to discover and try. With a little planning and creativity, you can have a fun and affordable vacation at Great Wolf Lodge. Have you ever been to Great Wolf Lodge? What are your tips for saving money there?
