Who Ya Gonna Call? Ghost Busters!

Who Ya Gonna Call? Ghost Busters!

Is anyone else out there addicted to these crazy ass ghost hunter shows. It’s the only one I watch religiously, because they try to debunk stuff as they see it and if they can’t find a logical reason for it happening, then it’s most likely real.

Call me insane, but I like knowing what happens to us after we pass on. It gives me a sense of closure, knowing that we’ll probably be just fine and won’t exactly be “nothing” as my boyfriend would say. He doesn’t believe that our spirits will be “alive”, when we’re dead, we’re dead and there’s no communicating or anything. I’m more open to believing I guess you could say. It’s intriguing to say the least.

I did have a bit of a scare a few months ago. Now I’m not exactly sure if it was my imagination or me watching too many of these shows that have totally filled up my DVR – but, I was sitting on the toilet in the middle of the night and I feel like someone had rubbed their finger down my back lightly. It was the most creepiest feeling ever and it scared the living shit out of me. I won’t go to the bathroom now, without turning on the light and making sure the shower curtain is completely opened. I don’t have long hair either, so it wasn’t that going down my back.

Let’s just say, I won’t mention this to my boyfriend, cause he’ll come up with some assnine reasoning, like me watching these shows and allowing “demons” as he calls them, to come in the house.

So, I can only share it with you all.

There is a reasoning behind his demon theory, and that’s because he had a bad experience as a child with an object that something spiritual held onto for dear life. (He’s also a Jehovah’s Witness) He said the demon held him down in his bed to where he couldn’t move or speak. And once they got rid of this item that they bought at a garage sale, it stopped happening. I’m sure there’s crazy stuff that happens like that and it would probably make me freak out and think the same way.

I did have my first experience about 8 years ago when I lived in an old farm house. One night my friend, myself, my sister and a couple cousins decided to go into my room and use a quija board. Apparently whatever was in the house didn’t like it or wanted to scare us, because the lights started turning off and on. Let’s just say we didn’t mess with the Quiji board anymore. Then, one night when I was about to go to sleep — I noticed a huge black mass towards the ceiling and it started floating towards me. I ran out of the bed and down the stairs, faster than a cheetah. I wasn’t about to get up close and personal with whatever the hell it was in my room.

And about a month after that recent scare, I was dangling my hand out over the bed and it felt like someone had touched the tip of my finger. Nothing was cold, as you would expect. So, I’m not exactly sure if it was a reaction of my skin twitching or tingling, since sometimes that happens or if it was actually something supernatural. I guess it’s easier to believe and to automatically assume it’s something that your mind cannot comprehend. About 30 minutes after that, I was starting to doze off and I was startled by what it seemed like, something running across my pillow since it moved and caused a loud ruffled noise in my ear.

I thought it was my cat, since she likes to sleep in our bed, but she was at the foot of it sleeping in her cat bed. So, really I cannot explain it. It was freaky as all hell and I will never forget those moments.

I am just imagining it’s my grandpa or my father who has passed on, trying to mess with me since my grandpa was a bit of a jokester and my dad was never really around, so maybe he’s trying to ya know “be there”. Either way, it’s still creepy.
