Anyone remember going to the Hot or Not website back in the day and adding your picture to see where you rated in appearance with the rest of the world? Yeah, me too! Now they have an app and are giving you a chance to win $1000 in the process!
For as long as I was interested in guys, I’ve always judged them by their appearance, after all, we know what we find attractive and what we don’t. In fact, my husband and I have our very own hot list of people we think would be cool to hang out with just for fun. Mine of course includes Channing Tatum, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, I mean the list goes on and on and on, and his has Shakira, Katee Sackhoff since he’s a sci-fi nerd, and others but I don’t care about his list, mine is what is important here.
Unfortunately, you cannot rate and chat it up with celebrities in the exciting Hot or Not App, but that’s a good thing, because we’re looking to rate realistic people here, not celebs who have had their physical appearances altered in some way to make them more or less appealing depending on who and what you find attractive.
The thing I like about this hot or not app is that it can turn into something more than just a rating site, possibly a dating site for those that are single and looking to mingle since it shows you who thinks you’re hot in your area. The app is available on iOS and Android, but check to see if it’s compatible with your device. I imagine since it is compatible with my Nexus 7 Tablet that you won’t have any problems getting this downloaded.
If you’d like more information about future sweepstakes or the Hot or Not app in general, you should stop by the Hot or Not Facebook page. And don’t forget to enter the sweepstakes, winner is announced on Feb 15th who then gets to choose a $1000 gift card of their choice!
