Where does the time go, seriously? When you’re a kid you want nothing more than to grow up and not have to go to school for 8 hours a day because it just drags on and on so slowly. You sit there waiting for the clock hour to turn 3 just so you can go home. Not much changes when you’re an adult I must say. Only, time seems to fly by a lot faster! I guess that’s what happens when you’re more productive rather than sitting there listening to a teacher mumble on about stuff you have no interest in.
Anyways, my Dear niece Rhylie turned 5 today so we decided to celebrate at Chuck E Cheese. After watching this video the other day I was kind of dreading it. I was expecting some little kid to come up to me, kick my ass and take my coins. Instead, it was just a kid coming up, taking my moms skiballs and playing on her lane. He asked for a coin, so she gave him one. We decided to do that in order to avoid the situation below.
However, the party was a success even though it was an impromptu plan. Well, besides my youngest sister Andrea putting frosting on Rhylie’s nose which resulted in tears. Rhylie is a bit overly sensitive so anything out of the ordinary can really set her off. Kind of reminds me of Andrea… *cough* But, Rhylie hasn’t exactly had the best structure in her life so we’re trying to change that or well, my parents are.
But don’t worry, Andrea got her payback by grandma… and she was quite pissed off too since she got it all over her shirt and face. If you can’t take it, don’t dish it!
I decided to give the outfits that I found on Amazon to Leah on Rhylie’s birthday since I would be leaving to Mexico on her birthday. She’s only 2 right now so she doesn’t quite understand why someone else gets gifts and she doesn’t. She was sad until she seen my gift I brought for her, so all worked out there. I’ve never seen kids get excited about clothes. They absolutely love clothes as gifts and she immediately put on her pink converse I got her, but unfortunately they ended up being a little too big. The thing with converse is that I guess they’re sized one size bigger than the size they state on the shoe. So if you order converse for your kids at any point in time, take that into consideration.
